I have been photographing animals professionally since 1972. Most species of domestic animals have been my models, but the majority of my work has been with purebred horses and dogs. I have a lot of hands on experience with animals that goes into my photo work with them.
Why have your animals photographed by a professional? My photos are used to promote show animals and to preserve precious memories of treasured companions. I also have done many outdoor family portraits that include the animals.
I do not work in a studio. I go on location and the majority of my photos are set in the outdoors either at my home, the client's home, or a public park. One time I used an old, old cemetary - but you would never guess it from the resulting photos.
A photo session with me takes some planning and work on the part of the clients/models as well as myself, but the results are almost always more than worth the expense and effort. My photo session fees are very reasonable. The links to the left will take you to the various pages of my on line portfolio.
